The Ranch/Power

This is a chapter I built is around the "power" and the ability to achieve..... my parents and I are not rich, but we do have some nice stuff, we have a bit of trucks, the one truck I label as the 4x, man that rig has pulled its weight, it is a 2002 ford f150 ex cab 4x4,.... see my parents bought this beautiful 10 acre ranch in the mountains, for my sister, and she went south on the deal, (drugs and alcohol took her down, man and she was doing so good for a long time) it is very nice up there, we own over 450 trees, some very big ones too !! there are seven pastures, 2 houses, two mini cabins, a big 30x40 two story barn/ shop, 2 race tracks, (for quads, dirt bikes) ok so to the "power" point, they made a mess of the ranch,(my sister and her loser boyfriend) I have been in scotts valley for some time (8 months or so) came to visit my mom............................at the first gate when i pulled up i said to my self oh no, as I went thru the 2nd gate I turned off my show truck I sat there and almost cried, there was so much garbage and this and that laying around, what a friggin mess they have made. It got worse when I got passed the first house, saw my mom, when I said hi and hugged her, I said not to worry, (see my pappa is an over the road truck driver, and is home three days out of the month so he is very ty ty when he gets home, so that leaves sally to do most all) so like this one boss that I had, Rick, he once told me "guys zip it up from the front and girls zip it up from the side", DAMN STRAIGHT--- I zipped it up from the front and leaped into action, because of the "power" I have of being sober, I was able to make it happen, it was shower at 5:00 in the morning, a lil good country breakfast, start work at about 6:00 ,work my tail off till about 11:30 at night.............. no joke, (even with the headlights from the trucks sometimes) 90 days at 18 plus hours a day............... that's over 1650 hours or so, at my rate of how much i charge other people for my labor, thats a lot of money, but there is no way that I would ever charge my parents after all the stuff they have done for me, and there love (you can never charge your family) I worked so hard, and it wasn't all that bad !! because I the had the "power" behind me !! if I was drinking or using, man no way would I have pulled it off, I remodeled the first house, we bought a tractor, I did all the roads, tended to the animals, 20 dump runs, it is back into shape !! I can go into it so far, but I will just tell you this my parents were blown away with the "power" I have inside of me !! they bought me a 2004 2500 hd 4x4 ex cab as a gift, just a token that they cared so much about the hours I put in. DAMN STRAIGHT--- I would have never got a 40k gift if I was loaded, drinking and using is such a lose lose sitch !! and yea im very proud of my self for making this happen !! you can to do the "power" thing if you belive in your self !! (and if you are not loaded)
